FAQ: About AVKANS GO

What is AVKANS GO?

The AVKANS Go 4K Live Camera delivers 4K Ultra HD quality, supporting versatile connections (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, LTE/5G with AVKANS Live App, PoE) and protocols like NDI (license included), SRT, HDMI, USB—seamlessly compatible with mainstream live streaming software (OBS, vMix, etc.) and multi-camera apps; it features a 6-hour built-in battery (plus PoE support), works with Webcam Mode/RTMP and other protocols, suits gaming, sports , vlogging and video production for creators and live streamers, and offers key advantages including easy multi-camera setup and one-tap streaming to YouTube via AVKANS Live App, ISO standalone recording, auto-record/stream on power-up, and URL overlay scoreboard—enabling broadcast-quality results without extra hardware while balancing live efficiency and post-production flexibility.

How Does AVKANS GO Communicate With My Mobile Device?

In order for the AVKANS Live App to detect a nearby AVKANS Camera, you must have Bluetooth & Wifi  enabled on your mobile device.

If you launch the AVKANS Live app but do not have Bluetooth enabled, the app will prompt you to turn it on. Tap Settings.

You will be redirected to the Bluetooth settings menu. Toggle the switch to On. It will take a brief moment to turn on.

Once you have Bluetooth turned on, go back to the AVKANS Live app and you can proceed with pairing the app to  your camera

How Long Does the Battery Last?

Our team has done extensive testing of AVKANS GO's battery life, which varies slightly depending on how you use your AVKANS GO.

Through the USB - C interface, the battery can be charged. When using a 5V/2A adapter, it takes about 4.5 hours to full charge. With a full battery, the device can stream at 1080P/30 resolution for over 6 hours

What Distance Should AVKANS GO Be from my Event?

Generally speaking, AVKANS GO works best when placed about five feet away from the subject (e.g., a panel discussion, a performer, etc.)

AVKANS GO has been designed to be close to the subject or event taking place, rather than in the back of a room like a traditional camera. For example, if your event takes place in an auditorium, AVKANS GO should be just far away enough to capture the entire stage in a wide shot; the 84 degree diagonal Field of View will allow for this to be closer than most standard cameras. AVKANS GO’s small form-factor will be unobtrusive to viewers on-site.

AVKANS GO Operating Temperature

AVKANS GO cameras can operate in a temperature range of 32F-95F (0-35C). You may experience poor aperformance outside of this range
